Founded by a frustrated developer who knew there had to be a better way. Since 2010, we've been the one-stop-shop for site development in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Built From Frustration, Driven by Excellence
Matt Howland spent years as a developer, hiring 3-5 separate contractors for every project—one for demolition, another for excavation, a third for utilities, and so on. The coordination headaches, scheduling conflicts, and finger-pointing between subs were costing time and money on every job.
Together with Ryan Somers, Matt founded Ryatt Construction to solve that problem. Their vision: one company that handles everything from the first swing of the wrecking ball to the final utility connection. One proposal. One point of contact. One team accountable for the entire scope.
Today, Ryatt provides more in-house services than almost any competitor in the region, with a ~39-person team serving both Seattle, WA and Phoenix, AZ. In 2022, Ryatt acquired a well-established Arizona contractor with over 30 years of local experience to establish their Phoenix operations.
